Privacy policy

Effective date: November 3, 2026

Clarity With Jadivan, LLC (“Clarity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Clarity RoutineStar, a routine and rewards service for families and schools. This policy explains what information we handle, why we use it, and how caregivers can make privacy requests.

Information we handle

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate caregivers; create and share child profiles with explicitly authorized caregivers; show routines, timers, progress, stars, rewards, and in-app notifications; pair and secure child devices; provide support; and protect the service from misuse. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not currently include an in-app advertising or third-party analytics SDK.

Children and caregiver responsibility

A caregiver creates and manages a child profile. Children do not sign in with their own email account; a caregiver pairs a child device using a code or QR code. A child profile may be shared between family and school spaces, but access is granted to specific caregivers and is not automatically given to every member of a linked space.

Parents, guardians, and schools are responsible for having the authority and permissions required to provide child information and invite other caregivers. Please do not include sensitive information in routine instructions unless it is necessary for the routine.

Photos, camera, and spoken instructions

A caregiver may choose a profile, task, or reward image to upload. Images are converted to WebP and image metadata is removed. Uploaded images are kept in private storage and served only to caregivers with child access or the paired child device.

The camera is used only when a user chooses to scan a pairing QR code. The camera view is not recorded or uploaded. The scanned pairing code is sent to our service to pair the device. In the web app, task instructions may be read aloud by the browser’s speech engine. RoutineStar does not capture microphone input or upload recorded audio; the selected device or browser speech provider may process instruction text under its own policies. The app does not request microphone or location access.

How information is shared

Child information is available to the caregivers who have been explicitly authorized for that child, including authorized family or school caregivers. We use service providers to operate the app: Supabase provides authentication, database, and private image storage; Vercel hosts the web application. These providers process information to provide and secure the service under their applicable terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Storage, security, and retention

We use access controls, database authorization policies, protected pairing credentials, and encrypted connections. Web sessions use secure cookies, and private child information is excluded from the app’s offline cache. The Android client encrypts saved credentials using Android Keystore. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

We keep account and child information while it is needed to provide the service and while the related profile remains in the system. Archiving a profile does not itself delete its information. Revoked access and security records may be retained to protect the service and preserve an audit history. Backups and operational logs may persist for a limited period under provider retention practices. We do not currently publish a fixed number of days for these periods.

Your choices and deletion requests

Caregivers can update routine and profile information and manage child access in the app. To request deletion of a caregiver account or child information, use our account deletion page or email contact@circle.jadivan.com. We will verify that the requester is authorized before acting. Deleting a caregiver account removes that caregiver’s access; a shared child profile may remain available to other authorized caregivers unless an authorized person requests deletion of the child profile. We may retain limited information where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or resolving disputes. We will explain any such retention when responding to a request.
